Baltic/Black Sea: Supply in the Baltic Sea region will remain tight, and demand will increase to 26,000 tons per month due to the launch of Grodno’s second extruded pellet plant next month. With a capacity of 400,000 tons/year, Grodno Azot needs more ammonium sulphate, so the number of local exports is reduced. According to reports, the Ukrainian demilitarized zone will provide 800 tons of ammonium sulphate, and if shipped, it may be shipped from Kherson in December. China: This week’s caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate has a wide range of offers this week. The offshore price of many producers in January was $119-122 due to tight supply due to reduced production.
